The Air jordan retro 7 is a very unique shoe in the Jordan line as well as a basketball shoe. The Air jordan retro 7 featured huarached technology which made the shoe really stick to your foot. The shoe was much lighter weight than some of the previous Air Jordans as well. The Air jordan retro 7 was also unique in that it did not feature the "Nike Air" logo, a visible air unit, or clear soles.
Once again, designed by Tinker Hatfield, the shoe had something new. A neoprene sockliner was the first of its kind. The Air jordan retro 7 was promoted in a marketing campaign in which Michael Jordan appeared with Buggs Bunny. The Air jordan retro 7 then inheritted the nickname "the Buggs".

The Air jordan retro 7 was a love/hate shoe. Many collectors thought it was the greatest shoe ever, while many thought it was the worst shoe imagineable. None-the-less, it is still a very popular shoe and has a large following whenever re-released.
